Welcome to my little corner of the digital coastline :)
I've been enchanted by the New England shores since I was a little girl. My parents would herd their six kids into the old station wagon during every season to enjoy a day at the beach. My favorite season was winter. All kinds of treasure kicked up and it was just us on the beach..
Another great love is, well, sea glass! One of the ocean's most precious gifts... and certainly the reason you're here on my page! You can usually find me seaside, hunting for new treasure washed ashore (especially after a good ol' Nor'easter!), or hard at work in my jewelry studio!
Since 2013, Sea Glass by Sharon has been connecting people - just like you - to the sea through handmade bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and more. As a self-taught artist, I've perfected my own unique style of wire-wrapping. The Outside Wrap is a technique which outlines and enhances the natural beauty of each sea glass piece. This wire-wrapping style has become symbolic of the Sea Glass by Sharon brand and it's the reason why beach-lovers worldwide have enjoyed wearing my designs.
Recently I've been teaching my craft through workshops at local venues. Soon I'll be doing these classes virtually online.
Each of my designs are original with 100% handmade craftsmanship, using sterling silver and fine components . Every piece of sea glass in my collection is authentic, time-tumbled in the Atlantic surf and handpicked from the shores of New England... by me!
